Cayman Office Concepts: Company Structure
Cayman Office Concepts Ltd. was formed in 1993 as a 50/50 partnership between local businessmen Jeremy Hurst and Ken Hall. Both are long term local residents with extensive experience in the Business Equipment and Commercial refurbishment industries. The company's focus is the coordination, installation and support of larger furnishing projects rather than the retail sale of individual pieces of furniture and the provision of full support for these installations. Bringing together their experience and company assets in a team approach for each project, they are able to minimise their overheads and thereby pass a highly competitive pricing structure onto their clients.
Knoll Inc.
Knoll Inc. is the fourth largest manufacturer of office furniture in the World with an installed base of over US$4 billion. Its main manufacturing plants are in East Greenville PA. and Toronto Canada, whilst it has had a strong presence in Cayman since 1989. Cayman Office Concepts Ltd. is supported by its Miami based regional office and showroom whose personnel include product specialists, customer service agents and CAD operators and interior designers. For major projects such as this we work closely with their support staff to ensure close coordination and accuracy of pricing and order entry to ensure delivery of a functional attractive and well designed office space that meets our client's exact requirements.
Third party suppliers
On the occasions when Knoll Inc. is unable to provide a certain, normally application specific, product, Cayman Office Concepts Ltd. have developed close non exclusive working relationship with a number of complementary suppliers to provide our clients with a comprehensive one source solution.
Cayman Office Concepts: Pricing Policy
Our policy is to provide the most competitive pricing to our clients whilst ensuring the furniture we sell is only of the highest quality. We do this by primarily by minimising our company overheads (we do not have a showroom, for example, but use actual installations for this purpose). Similarly we have our staff and fleet of trucks for customs clearing and delivery purposes on an as needed basis, again minimising our overheads and enabling highly competitive pricing which we pass directly to our clients. In certain circumstances we encourage our clients to purchase directly from Knoll Inc.
